The Skunk2 Alpha Series Throttle Bodies are a solid entry level upgrade for your induction system. These throttle bodies are made from precision die-cast aluminum and are fine shot blasted for a quality finish. The throttle plate is precision machined brass with sealed ball bearing for smooth operation. Since this is designed to be a direct bolt on, it is compatible with the stock cables and coolant lines. The perfect solution for those looking to add a bit more power to their build.
Key Features:
- Increases horsepower and torque by optimizing airflow to your engine.
- Gains of up to 10+ hp, naturally aspirated (more on turbocharged and supercharged vehicles).
- Hardware and a NEW THERMAL THROTTLE BODY GASKET are included when applicable (factory O-rings can be re-used).
- Available in two different sizes.
- Made of precision die-cast aluminum. Very durable and allows Skunk2 to price this throttle body well below the traditional "Pro Series" one.
- Great reliability and smooth operation - exceeds industry standards.

Tuning Info: Since this throttle body allows more airflow than your stock throttle body, ADJUSTING THE ECU CALIBRATION AFTER INSTALLING THIS PART IS USUALLY REQUIRED. Otherwise, your car may not drive correctly or get full power.
TPS Sensor Notes: If you think your stock Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is getting old or is not working correctly, we recommend getting a new TPS sensor to avoid power loss, bogging, and other problems associated with old TPS sensors.
