Cometic StreetPro Gasket Kits are for the budget-minded tuner who is looking to purchase a kit with all necessary gaskets and seals needed for a quality re-build of their engine. The Top End Kits generally come with the Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Steel) Head Gasket, valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, cam seals and any other gasket that would be used during a cylinder head rebuild or replacement. The Bottom End Kits usually come with the oil pan gasket, oil pump gasket, crank seal, rear main seal and water pump gasket. Purchase both the Top and Bottom End Kits for a total engine rebuild. Complete Kits generally contain all the gaskets from a Top and Bottom End Kit. Also, a great complementary part to consider when replacing a head gasket or doing an engine rebuild would be ARP Head Studs. They will help keep your high performance engine, either boosted or naturally aspirated, from failing when you need it!
Cometic uses the best quality gasket materials in all their Street Pro Kits. Materials include: MLS, AFM, Aramid Fiber, and Armor Clad, all of which are made to meet and exceed OEM standards. This way you can be sure that you won't have to go back and change out that leaky gasket you had just replaced. Also, because of the materials used in theses gaskets, using a silicone sealant is not required as they will not tear or "squeeze" out once installed.
