The Problem
Clutch Master Cylinders (CMCs) (on most newer manual transmission Hondas and Acuras) have a dampening diaphragm that helps subdue tiny vibrations in the pedal. These vibrations mainly stem from the clutch release bearing when engaging the pressure plate. This diaphragm becomes a problem as it is prone to leaking or even blowing out completely. This can leave you stranded as the master cylinder is no longer able to generate hydraulic pressure to actuate the clutch. In addition, the hydraulic force is not fully transmitted to the clutch fork and thus pressure plate disengagement is compromised.
Clutch Slave Cylinders (on most newer manual transmission Hondas and Acuras) have a delay valve that lessens the shock induced when dumping the clutch by limiting how fast the clutch can engage. This is great if you don't know how to modulate a clutch properly, but for performance drivers it can be a huge hindrance as it takes control away from the driver. Also, due to the nature of the delay valve, additional clutch slip is generated and can greatly increase clutch wear and shorten the life of the clutch.
SiriMoto's Solution
The N1 Clutch Master CMC / Slave Cylinder Upgrade Kit for your manual transmission Honda Civic eliminates the dampening diaphragm in the clutch master cylinder and does away with the delay valve in the slave cylinder. This helps by: giving better control, eliminating points of failure, and providing a more robust system made to handle performance clutch kits. It also makes your manual transmission Honda Civic more engaging and fun to drive.

More Details
The N1 Clutch Master / Slave Cylinder Upgrade Kit is the perfect complement to your upgraded or factory clutch. This kit will ensure you get great feedback and pressure, so you get the best possible performance and driving pleasure out of a clutch upgrade or factory clutch. No more blown out master or slave cylinders and no more mushy pedal feel. The perfect solution to a mash potato clutch pedal!

Installation and Bleeding Notes:
  • Gravity bleeding as a first step is generally recommended. Use of the standard bleeder screw is included for this to make the process clean and simple. Once the system is filled with fluid, use of the check-valve bleeder is recommended for proper bleeding and removal of any air bubbles that may be left in the system.
  • Installation instructions are provided upon request.
  • For some applications, the Clutch Master Cylinder Clevis will not be a direct match for the vehicle. Simply reusing the OEM piece from the vehicle is recommended in these cases.
